When I am not on a concert stage, I spend most of my time sharing my music with others in the classroom. I enjoy teaching children as young as 3 years old and adults as old as 80 years old and beyond. We explore a wide variety of styles ranging from western classical music, swing, gypsy jazz, pop, and rock and everything in between.

 

My primary format for teaching is private one-on-one sessions in person or via Skype. This method allows for a customized lesson that can be designed to fit your desired pace of learning and also focus on the style of music that speaks to you most personally.

 

I also offer a variety of workshop style presentations for groups of aspiring musicians. These interactive sessions are designed for groups like school music programs, youth orchestras, summer music institutes and similar settings and can be as short as a one hour "exploration" session or as in depth as a week long intensive workshop.
