Faculty at Punahou Music School

Duane is a proud member of the Punahou Music School faculty. He teaches private violin and viola lessons both in‑person and online, as well as courses in songwriting, music production, and improvisation across a wide variety of genres.

Private Lessons

Duane works with students of all ages and abilities, from young beginners to advanced conservatory musicians. His teaching blends the best of traditional classical technique with creative exploration, inspiring students to develop both technical mastery and a unique artistic voice.
